the Aquarian Christine Brethren in Ghana and in
Kenya . May God bless and keep the African
Aquarian Christines forever and expand the Light in
Africa!

| Letter of appreciation from UNICEF |
Dear Jacob L.,
On behalf of the children of Myanmar, I want to
thank you for your recent gift and let you know
what UNICEF has accomplished to date with your
generous support. In the past week, UNICEF has:
* Distributed pre-positioned oral rehydration
salts, water purification tablets, family hygiene
kits, essential medicines, first aid kits and
shelter materials to the hardest-hit areas.
* Delivered additional supplies from its
Copenhagen warehouse.
* Established child-friendly spaces within
camps for children who have lost or been separated
from their families.
With 10 operational offices in Myanmar, UNICEF is
the lead agency on the ground for water and
sanitation, hygiene, nutrition, education and child
protection. We'll keep you posted on our progress
in these areas over the coming weeks.
As in any emergency, UNICEF will do whatever it
takes to save children's lives. Thank you again
for making this work possible.

| Donations at work in Myanmar |
Thanks to your generous donations we have begun a
cooperative effort with Unicef in provided disaster
relief to the cyclone victims in Myanmar. Please
give generously to disaster relief organizations,
the people of Myanmar desperately need your
financial help in providing food, water, shelter,
clothing, medicine, and basic sanitation, including
the sanitary problem of over 100,000 corpses. Here
is a list of organizations trying to provided help
to people of Myanmar:
**U.S.based organizations:
• International Rescue Committee
• International Medical Corps
• Save the Children
• World Vision
• ADRA International;
**Global organizations:
• International Federation of Red Cross & Red
Crescent Societies
• World Food Programme
• UNICEF
• UN Refugee Agency
• CARE International
• The Salvation Army;
Your best bet in seeing that your donations
actually get there to the Myanmar people is
probably the GLOBAL Organizations.
